Y'know, sometimes when we do these videos, we don't realize just how long the damn monkeys rant and ramble about the exciting new comics out on Wednesdays. Sure, the Video Monkey will give them the "hurry it up you damn geek" look, but usually they just ignore it and continue to hastily string words together, but this is NOT a bad thing! It just means that you're getting heartfelt and genuine recommendations from monkeys who are truly excited about these new books!

So while the poor video monkey might have to sit there each week and stare at our faces while he edits, you enjoy the benefits of his infinite patience and hard work! Yay for monkeys everywhere!! Three paws and a banana for new comics! Thanks for watching!!

Woah, strange orange-y filter goin on here this week...Anyway, it was friggin hot the other day. Now, now finally, the rain has returned and with it, NEW COMICS!! to read indoors while sitting in a chair by the window with the raindrops providing a perfect soundtrack to a perfect comic reading night. ALL HAIL THE LORDS OF THE PRISON PIT!! AHEM, I mean, oh hey, guys, how ya'll doin? Sorry, we are a bit excited by the seriously awesome Prison Pit swag Anna smuggled back from SDCC, which was apparently quite the experience, but still lots of fun. This week sees the Remender juggernaut rolling forward with LOW, yet another new #1 as well as the return of Black Science! Vertigo drops two new books and marvel finally puts out Hawkeye after god knows how many months. ...and Prophet, well, kinda ends. SADNESS!! But it will return in the ashes of Earth War!!

Bleedin hell, it's hot here in Seattle!! Still!!! Yes, you people on the east coast or the south may call us wimps, but c'mon, we see the sun like 2 months out of the entire year! It's like a colony of vampires or something in this town. (Tattooed vampires to be precise)  Anyway....The whole team is back this week to bring you a week of new #1's, red hot collections and of course, all the humor and smartass-ness that you've come to know and love.

Gahh!! We are so so so very late this week!!! Our Video Monkey had to work at his job that actually pays him (amazing, I know) and wasn't able to do his hairy homo-sapien magic until the next day and then... casey dropped the ball. That's right, blame Casey (everyone does.) Anywayzzzz, the comics are still fresh and the excitement only ages like fine wine here at CSSG!!

The band is back together again!! The CSSG mech robot attack squad is back at full strength with a kirby fist punch to the face full of shiny new funnybooks!! We apologize in advance for the length of the video this week, but we could just not contain ourselves from gushing and gushing (and gushing) for many minutes to the point where you are probably tired of listeinig and will just hit stop, but the energy could just not be quelled!! At least Casey and Morgan provide some fun comic relief this week (including punching)...

And we are rockin' BARTKIRA this week cuz that sh*t is F*****ING awesome!!!

With Morgan deathly ill due to the another breakout of the dastardly legacy virus that attacked him late last year and Will stuck in the equally nefarious Seattle traffic of yesterday, Anna and Casey were forced to pick up the slack and take center stage in what we are calling "Do robots pee?" or 'We wish we were as cool as Morgan" This episode was a lot of fun to do and we think you'll be pleasantly surprised with this new iteration of the dynamic duo!!

A very happy happy Wednesday to all you comic fans out there in video land!! While the CSSG team may still not be up to full power (our lovely Anna has better things to do apparently...) there is no less excitement in the staggering amount of awesome funnybooks that we have in store for you this week!!
Also, Video Monkey got a case of east coast fever or something (or he just started drinking too early in the day) and screwed up the date and episode number on this weeks' title card. Bad Monkey!!

The Video Monkey has finally returned from the Vietnamese work camp where he and Lady Video Monkey were held for the past two weeks and forced to sew Nike symbols onto knock off sneakers until their fingers bled. While Will had to be responsible and attend a work function, the rest of the CSSG crew picks up the slack to deliver a full frontal onslaught of funnybooks including a ton new #1's, special flip comics and other assorted goodies!!

Also, this is going up very late because, well...my bad. And Godzilla this week because you can never have enough Godzilla.

This week, Morgan and Casey bring you the very newest of new comics, filled with many gloriously collectible #1 issues that are sure to beat the summer heat! We've got Quantum and Woody with awesome action goat sidekick; the beginning of DC's big JLA crossover, TRINITY; the new Mouse Guard hardcover (finally!); weird ass drug induced sci-fi from Darick Robertson's Ballistic and a very very special treat that Morgan found in the sticky abyss that is our attic.
